The West Kootenay Francophone Association invites you to participate in the Travelling Tree project.
In collaboration with Canadian Heritage and artist Jeremie Gurvan, a 6-foot tree will be built in 3D. The texts submitted by the participating youth and adult members of the Francophone and Francophile community will be printed on its wooden leaves. Furthermore, an engraved illustration of your object will be included.
This project aims to identify the diversity and the richness of the West Kootenay Francophone community, and strengthen the Francophone pride across the territory.
The tree will be exhibited at the at the three Francophone schools across the region (Nelson, Rossland, and Revelstoke), as well as Lakeside Park in Nelson.
