AFKO’s camp offers a creative and active summer, 100% in French! Camp days are divided between mornings of artistic workshops led by guest artists, and active afternoons supervised by the camp leader (Liliane).
Summer Camp Schedule
8:30 to 9:00 – Children drop-off
9:00 to 12:00 – Artistic workshop
12:00 to 13:00 – Lunch in the AFKO courtyard
13:00 to 15:00 – Outdoor activities / outings
15:15 – Return to the AFKO house
15:30 – Camp ends
15:30 to 16:00 – After-care service
Opening Hours
8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday except statutory holidays
Arrival – 8:30 to 9:00
The summer camp team begins welcoming children at 8:30 AM. All children must be accompanied upon arrival and checked in daily by a parent or guardian.
Departure – 15:30 to 16:00
Parents/guardians must pick up their child no later than 3:30 PM; after that, after-care fees will apply. Pick-up will be at the AFKO house or another location specified by the team if different.

Fees
Non-member price:
- 1 child: $240 / full week
- 2nd child: $230 / full week (Promo code: FAMILLE)

- 1 child: $200 / full week

After-care (3:30–4:00 PM): $15

Summer Camp Packing List
- Weather-appropriate shoes (walking and running)
- Hat, sunscreen, and long-sleeve shirt
- Swimsuit and towel (depending on activities and weather)
- Change of clothes
- Backpack labeled with the child’s name
- Lunch and 2–3 snacks (nut-free)
- 2 filled water bottles

General Terms
AFKO reserves the right to refuse or discontinue a child’s participation if:
- Their behaviour compromises safety or the smooth running of the camp;
- A significant language barrier prevents proper participation in French activities.
In these cases, no refund will be issued.
AFKO reserves the right to modify, reorganize, or cancel certain activities or weeks depending on circumstances.
Additional fees may apply for late pick-up after 4:05 PM.
Additional Support
We are not able to provide one-on-one support. Children requiring additional assistance may be eligible to attend with a support person provided by their family. Please contact us for more information (coordination@afko.ca).
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Full payment must be completed no later than the Thursday before the start of the registered week.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. The following applies in case of cancellation:
- More than 14 days before the week starts: Full refund minus 15% administrative fee
- 7 to 14 days before: 75% refund of total amount
- Less than 7 days before or after the camp has started: No refund, except for medical reasons with proof (75% refund in that case)
- Week transfer: Possible up to 7 days before the original week, depending on availability, no fees
- Cancellation by AFKO: Full refund if the camp is cancelled (e.g. insufficient registrations)
Camp sustainability
Our summer camp is offered in a community-oriented and accessible spirit. Ideally, we need a minimum of 12 registrations per week to ensure the camp’s viability.
