Synopsis:
MATTHIAS & MAXIME c’est l’histoire de deux amis d’enfance qui s’embrassent pour les besoins d’un court métrage amateur. Suite à ce baiser d’apparence anodine, un doute récurrent s’installe entre les deux garçons.m Ils sont confrontés à leurs préférences en bouleversant l’équilibre de leur cercle social et, bientôt, leur existence. Sorti en 2019, le film a récolté le prix du meilleur film s’étant illustré à l’extérieur du Québec lors du 22ème Gala Québec Cinéma.

Synopsis:
It’s a cottage weekend like any other, until a young filmmaker convinces her brother and another boy to kiss for a film she is making. That simple kiss has unexpected consequences for Matthias, a young lawyer, and his childhood friend, Maxime. An official selection at the Cannes Festival, this film by Xavier Dolan is a stylish and emotional meditation on masculinity. Along for the ride is an impressive cast of friends and actors, including Gabriel D’Almeida Freitas, Pier-Luc Funk, Catherine Brunet and, of course, Anne Dorval.
