À propos de moi
Originaire de Bordeaux, je vis au Canada depuis 2013 et me suis installée à Nelson en 2018 pour y construire ma vie de famille. Titulaire d’un master en sport, option éducation, je propose depuis 2022 un accompagnement en français à l’AFKO, auprès de personnes de tout âge et de tout niveau, dans un cadre bienveillant et structuré.
Je fais également de la suppléance dans les écoles locales, ce qui me permet de rester en lien avec les exigences des programmes scolaires et les réalités du terrain éducatif.
About Me
Originally from Bordeaux, I have been living in Canada since 2013 and settled in Nelson in 2018 to build my family life. I hold a Master’s degree in Sports with a focus on Education. Since 2022, I have been offering French language support at AFKO for learners of all ages and levels, in a supportive and structured environment.
I also work as a substitute teacher in local schools, which allows me to stay connected to curriculum requirements and the realities of the educational field.
Mon approche
Je propose un accompagnement personnalisé, axé sur la communication, la confiance et la progression individuelle. Que ce soit pour apprendre les bases, se remettre à niveau, ou se préparer à un examen, j’adapte mes cours aux besoins spécifiques de chacun. J’utilise des supports variés (documents authentiques, jeux, outils numériques) et crée mes propres ressources pédagogiques pour dynamiser les apprentissages.
My Approach
I offer personalized support focused on communication, building confidence, and individual progress. Whether you’re learning the basics, reviewing material, or preparing for an exam, I tailor my lessons to each learner’s needs. I use a variety of resources (authentic documents, games, digital tools) and create my own teaching materials to make learning dynamic.

Tarifs/Contact
Cours particuliers : $60 de l’heure
Cours de conversation en groupe : $40 le mois (4 séances) ou $20 la séance
Tous les cours sont proposés à l’AFKO. Possibilité de cours en ligne selon les besoins.
Private lesson: $60/hour
Conversation class: $40 for the month (4 session) or $20 the drop in session
All lessons are offered at AFKO. Online classes available if needed.

I attended group class taught by Celia this year. I found it very helpful and the classes were tailored to beginers. The group dynamic was wonderful and I always had an enjoyable time while learning basic French. I intend to pick it up this fall again. I feel it’s a really approachable class that anyone can show up and learn at their own pace!.
We had a wonderful experience working with Celia as our French tutor! Most of the sessions were held over Zoom, which worked out perfectly with our schedule, but she also met with us in person a few times—which was such a nice bonus. Notre fille a fait du tutorat avec Célia pendant deux ans et ce fut une excellente façon de rattraper les notions de français qui lui manquaient pour réintégrer un programme francophone à un niveau 6-7e année.
